Ordinarily, the amount of proteins in European cow's milk js double that in mother's milk, the fat content is the same in both, and the sugar content a little less in cow's milk. Hence the European medical man advises that the cow's milk be diluted with an equal amount of water, and that the fat and sugar deficiency be made up? ?usually by adding one teaspoonful of sugar and one of cream to every three ounces of prepared milk.
